Crepes & Pancakes

A Pancake is a flat and round cake prepared from a wheat or buckwheat based batter with eggs, milk or buttermilk and cooked on a flat griddle or pan. A leavening agent is often used, like baking powder, to make the pancakes thick and fluffy. Pancakes are usually served for breakfast with maple syrup, fruits, cream cheese or bacon.

A Crepe is a type of a very thin pancake usually made from a wheat flour based batter. Crepes are thought to originate from Brittany, a region in the northwest of France but their consumption is widespread in many parts of Europe and other countries.

Pancake & Waffle Flour

Our company offers easy to prepare flour mixes for both Pancakes and Crepes. Pancakes can be prepared from our Carbon's® Golden Malted® Pancake & Waffle flour; and crepes, can be prepared with our Carbon's® Golden Malted® "Crepe Mix" which is based on an authentic French recipe.
